Rule Britannia: top honours for the Markel UK team
Markel UK won the Voluntary, Care, Heritage and Education Underwriting Team of the Year category at the 2011 Underwriting Service Awards, held at The Oval in London on 22 November.
The awards are based not on insurer submissions judged by a panel, but on independent opinion from a wide range
of UK commercial broking professionals. In other words, it's what the brokers say. The shortlist included Ecclesiastical, Ansvar and Brit.
This award acknowledges a first-class underwriting service, from product development and delivery through to claims handling, and underlines Markel UK's expertise in specialist sectors.
