Here are some the names and faces in Markel's growing Asia Pacific team.

		Peter Phillips Managing director peter.phillips@markelintl.com Peter has worked in the insurance industry for over 30 years and has more than 20 years' management experience in Asian insurance markets, including Indonesia, Singapore and India. Peter was responsible for establishing Markel International Singapore in 2007.
		Mark Warrilow Chief underwriting officer mark.warrilow@markelintl.com Mark relocated from the UK earlier this year. He has a long track record as a senior underwriter in the London market and is now serving as chief underwriting officer in Singapore.
		Abhishek Chhajer Senior underwriter – trade credit abhishek.chhajer@markelintl.com Abhishek is leading the development of Markel's Asia Pacific trade credit business from the Singapore office. He has many years of experience in the trade credit sector and his background includes structured finance and political risk.
		Rohan Davies Underwriter – offshore energy rohan.davies@markelintl.com Rohan is a geologist by training and has gained underwriting experience in the London, US and Asian markets. He joined Markel in 2008 and has become a leading player in the growing Lloyd's energy market in Asia.
		Ada Lam Development underwriter ada.lam@markelintl.com Ada heads the Hong Kong office and has more than 17 years' experience in the insurance industry. Ada began her career in Toronto as a broker, and she has particular experience of financial lines.
		Simon Moi Underwriter – professional and financial risks simon.moi@markelintl.com Simon is a very experienced financial lines underwriter with a strong background in portfolio management in China for major multinational insurers and reinsurers. He is responsible for underwriting professional indemnity, directors' and officers' liability and other specialist lines across the Asia region.
